Sarojininagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh has voiced serious concerns over what he described as a ‘silent war on Hindu civilisation’, accusing the current education system of erasing India’s cultural and religious identity.
Dr Singh cited examples from school textbooks and warned that educators are rewriting history not to reflect the truth, but to obscure it.
Addressing a gathering in Lucknow, Dr Singh criticised the marginalisation of Hindu figures and traditions in school syllabi.
“Temples are being erased from textbooks, while invaders are glorified. Ram is called a myth, and Akbar is called history. Is this education or ideological brainwashing?” he asked.
Dr Singh accused the academic establishment of distorting cultural education and disconnecting young minds from their heritage. He pointed out that:
“This is not just distortion; it’s a disconnection from dharma, identity, and pride,” Dr Singh declared.

Dr Singh blamed previous governments for promoting colonial and left-leaning narratives that, he said, deliberately fragmented India’s dharmic identity. He accused them of:
Urging citizens to take charge of this cultural revival, Dr Singh appealed to families to become torchbearers of Indian civilisation. He encouraged:
“Let us not be the last link in a broken chain. Let us keep Bharat’s flame alive,” Dr. Singh said in his closing remarks.
