Dr Rajeshwar Singh Calls For Bold Goals To Make India A Global Power By 2047

Sarojini Nagar MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh has called on the youth to set five bold goals to make India a developed nation by 2047. He outlined key targets in economic, technological, social, and environmental sectors that will help transform the country into a global power.

Economic and Technological Growth

Dr Singh stressed the importance of reaching a GDP of $15 trillion by 2047 to make India the third-largest economy. He called for a rise in per capita income to $10,000 to uplift millions into the middle class. He also urged a 3% GDP investment in research and development (R&D) by 2035, specifically to lead in fields like AI, quantum computing, and green hydrogen. Dr. Singh pointed out that countries like South Korea and the US already dominate in these areas, and India must invest similarly to compete.

Infrastructure, Social Empowerment, and Environmental Goals

Dr Singh set a goal to build 100% smart cities by 2040 and provide 24/7 electricity, transport, and digital access to all villages by 2030. He also called for 100% literacy by 2035, 50% female workforce participation, and reducing poverty below 3%. On the environmental front, he urged India to achieve 50% renewable energy use by 2030 and increase forest area to 33%.

A Call to Action for Youth

Dr Singh emphasized that India’s future lies in the hands of its youth, urging them to lead the country in innovation, prosperity, and sustainability. He also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for their efforts in shaping the country’s future.

Dr Singh is already driving local initiatives in Sarojini Nagar, including digital education, youth empowerment centers, green energy promotion, and large-scale environmental programs, to prepare the youth for India’s bright future.
