Dr Dinesh Sharma Says Govt Focused On Fuel Supply, Inflation Control As Global Crisis Continues

Rajya Sabha MP and former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma said the Government of India is fully committed to protecting citizens from the impact of global conflicts. He stressed that ensuring the availability of gas and oil, along with controlling inflation, remains the top priority at present.

Speaking to journalists, Dr Dinesh Sharma said the opposition is spreading misinformation regarding gas availability, while those intending to profiteer through black marketing in the name of crisis have been exposed. He added that the Centre is seriously working to manage the situation arising out of war and has ensured that its impact does not burden ordinary citizens.

Dr Dinesh Sharma said excise duty cuts have kept fuel prices stable, while the removal of customs duty on fertilisers and petro products has provided relief. The Prime Minister is continuously reviewing the situation.

The MP also said countries like Pakistan and Australia have shut petrol pumps, while Europe faces a deepening crisis.

Dr Dinesh Sharma said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dedication to the country and its people has earned him recognition as the world’s most popular leader by a recent American magazine, adding that he is currently leading the global stage. He referred to the recent G20 Summit hosted under India’s leadership, which saw participation from major global powers.

Responding to a question on the Aam Aadmi Party, the MP alleged that it has become a party of elites where industrialists get opportunities instead of workers.

UGC Issue and Population Concerns

On the UGC issue, Dr Dinesh Sharma said the matter is sub judice and added that the Union Minister has assured that no injustice will occur. He also spoke about population imbalance, stating that population stabilisation has gone below the required level and that India may face an ageing population in the future.

Dr Dinesh Sharma claimed that Hindus have become a minority in 10 states and called for addressing the imbalance, extending minority rights wherever applicable. He also highlighted that he had raised the issue of discrimination in educational institutions in Parliament.

Dr Dinesh Sharma said the Right to Education Act is a burden on Hindu institutions, while minority institutions are exempt, calling it a violation of the right to equality and advocating for legal reforms.

Addressing saints at a religious gathering at Sakhi Hanuman Temple, the Rajya Sabha MP said the presence of saints brings prosperity and relief from suffering.

Narrating a story from the Ramayana tradition, Dr Dinesh Sharma spoke about Goswami Tulsidas meeting Lord Hanuman in Chitrakoot in disguise.

Dr Dinesh Sharma described the idea of a Brahmin as a way of life dedicated to the welfare of all sections of society and said historical invaders targeted this group as they united society. He also accused the British of dividing Indian society along caste lines and altering the education system to sustain their rule.

Earlier, the MP offered prayers at Maa Pitambara Devi Temple in Datia and attended a workers’ gathering at the residences of Ramji Parihar and MLA Ravi Sharma, where several political leaders, saints, and public representatives were present.
