Dr. Dinesh Sharma Accuses Congress of Offering ‘Lollipop of Justice’ to Public Amidst Alleged Appeasement Agenda

Dr. Dinesh Sharma, the election in-charge of the BJP in Maharashtra, a Rajya Sabha MP, and former Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, criticized the Congress, calling it hypocritical and accusing it of preparing to deceive the public with false promises. He accused the Congress of reverting to its old agenda of appeasement and highlighted the Congress government of Karnataka’s alleged infringement upon the reservation rights of Dalits and backward classes, labelling it as a betrayal of the Constitution drafted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.

Describing the Congress as conspiratorial, corrupt, and proficient in deceit, Dinesh Sharma asserted that the party’s efforts to mislead the public were evident, especially as it recognized its diminishing prospects of coming to power. He emphasized the necessity of Narendra Modi serving a third term as Prime Minister to counter the opposition’s divisive tendencies and uphold India’s stature globally, particularly in responding firmly to countries like Pakistan.

Dinesh Sharma criticized Uddhav Thackeray for allegedly tarnishing the legacy of his father, Bal Thackeray, and attempting to secure his son’s political future by aligning with the Congress and Sharad Pawar. He accused Uddhav of antagonizing Hindus during his tenure as Chief Minister and claimed that his association with Congress had alienated his allies and the public alike.

Regarding Sharad Pawar’s plea against electing Modi for a third term, Sharma dismissed it as absurd, asserting that the public would reject such appeals and consign Pawar to political irrelevance.

Sharma rallied BJP workers to ensure Modi’s re-election by intensifying voter outreach efforts, particularly through social media, and by promoting Modi’s initiatives such as the Ayushman Kavach scheme for the elderly.

Speaking at a joint meeting in Navi Mumbai, Sharma, along with other BJP leaders, urged supporters to strive for Mahayuti’s victory in the upcoming elections and reaffirmed their support for Narendra Modi’s candidacy for Prime Minister.
