‘Double Engine’ Development: PM Modi inaugurates New Vande Bharat Express & Projects Worth 75 Thousand Cr

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launches projects worth Rs 75,000 cr in the state of Maharashtra, calling it a ‘proof of how rapidly the double engine govt is functioning.’

Today in Nagpur, PM Modi flagged off the new Vande Bharat Express where hi also took a Metro ride to Khapri Metro Station from Freedom Park Metro station.

Flagging off the new Vande Bharat Express from Nagpur Railway station, PM Modi also inaugurates various developmental projects in Maharashtra. The sixth Vande Bharat Express of India is going to run between Bilaspur and Nagpur. PM Modi dedicated ‘Nagpur Metro Phase I’ to the people of India laying the foundation stone of ‘Nagpur Metro phase- II’.

The flagging off of the Vande Bharat Express between Bilaspur and will significantly enhance the connectivity for and from both sides by this train. The Prime Minister also took a ride in Nagpur Metro from Freedom Park Metro station to Khapri Metro Station.

Nagpur witnesses the public function where PM Modi lays the foundation stone and dedicate it to India along with rail projects worth more than Rs one thousand five hundred crores. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone of the NIO (National Institute of One Health) for Nagpur district, along with the Nag river pollution abatement project, for the city and the state.

The Prime Minister also inaugurated Phase – I of Hindu Hrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg which connects Shirdi undertaking a tour of the highway. Apart from this PM Modi also inaugurated All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Nagpur city.

The seventy five thousand crore development projects in Maharashtra also includes the ‘Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET), Chandrapur’ which PM Modi dedicated to the nation along with inaugurating the ‘Centre for Research, Management and Control of Hemoglobinopathies, (CRMCH) Chandrapur’.

During the day hours today, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to visit Goa for addressing the valedictory function of the 9th World Ayurveda Congress. With this busy schedule today PM Moid is going to inaugurate the Mopa International Airport in Goa.
