Dia Gosai’s Portrait Sparks Heartfelt Connection Between PM Modi & President Sanchez In Vadodara

A touching scene unfolded during a roadshow in Vadodara as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Spanish President Pedro Sanchez paused to connect with a specially-abled student, Dia Gosai, from MS University.

Dia presented the leaders with a beautifully sketched portrait of them, creating a moment that resonated with compassion and inclusivity.

As PM Modi and President Sanchez waved to crowds from their open jeep, the Prime Minister noticed Dia in the audience. He immediately halted the motorcade, stepping out to personally express his gratitude for her thoughtful gift.

Dia beamed with joy as both leaders warmly shook her hand and praised her artistic talent. Onlookers applauded, appreciating the leaders’ genuine display of kindness.

PM Modi Highlights New India-Spain Partnership At C295 Factory Inauguration

The roadshow set the stage for a significant event, as PM Modi and President Sanchez officially inaugurated the TATA Aircraft Complex in Vadodara, marking a key advancement for India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative within the aviation industry.

They unveiled the Final Assembly Line (FAL) Plant for the C295 military aircraft, developed through a collaboration between Tata Advanced Systems and Airbus Spain.

Prior to the inauguration, the two leaders engaged in a vibrant 2.5-kilometer roadshow, interacting with the public and enjoying cultural performances that showcased the region’s heritage.

In his address at the inauguration, PM Modi further remarked on the significance of this collaboration, stating, “This is my friend Pedro Sanchez’s first visit to India. Today, we are moving in a new direction to the India-Spain partnership with the production factory of the C295 aircraft. This facility will enhance India-Spain relations and the ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ mission.”

The C295 program aims to manufacture a total of 56 aircraft, with 16 to be supplied by Airbus from Spain and the remaining 40 to be produced at the TATA Aircraft Complex in Vadodara.

This facility is particularly notable as it represents the first private-sector Final Assembly Line for military aircraft in India, underscoring the nation’s growing capabilities in defense manufacturing.
