Amrita School
The police said a private school in Delhi was evacuated today after receiving a bomb threat over email.
According to the officials, Amrita School in Delhi’s Pushp Vihar got the threat email at about 6.35 am, and the administration notified the police.
The school was quickly evacuated. During the police search, no suspicious objects were discovered at the school.
Along with police, bomb squad personnel were on the scene.
This comes less than a month after the ‘Delhi Public School (DPS)’ in Mathura Road got a threatening email saying that a bomb had been installed on its premises, forcing police to evacuate and sterilize the school.

During their investigation, police discovered that the email address from which the message was sent was linked to a minor DPS student.
During a therapy session, the student told police that he planned the prank just for fun.
A comparable event occurred at the ‘Indian School’ last month. The school was evacuated as the bomb squad and other agencies searched for any explosive substance. The email was later determined to be a hoax.
