The Delhi Police are investigating a potential Khalistani connection to CRPF school blast in Rohini. The Khalistani angle erupted following a threatening post on Social Media.
To ascertain information about the Pro-Khalistani channel that claimed responsibility, authorities have contacted messaging platform Telegram. The blast took place on Sunday. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
According to police, the investigation was initiated after a Telegram post asserted that the explosion was retaliation for the targeting of pro-Khalistan separatists by Indian agents.
The probe team is particularly focused on the channel named ‘Justice League India’. A video of the explosion, featuring a “Khalistan Zindabad” watermark, was shared on the channel Sunday evening. This video included messages claiming that Khalistani operatives were behind the attack and issued threats.

Following the video’s release, it quickly spread across multiple Telegram channels, particularly those operating from Pakistan. These channels are known for disseminating information related to terrorist activities in Kashmir.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device (IED), likely triggered by a remote or timer. It reportedly contained no deadly shrapnel and was probably placed late Saturday night.
Witnesses reported that the explosion occurred between 7:35 AM and 7:40AM on Sunday. Residents described hearing the blast and experiencing vibrations, along with a foul smell that filled the area.
Agencies, investigating the matter have found traces of low explosives at the blast site. Along with wires, powdery substance, were discovered. National Security Guard (NSG) officials also recovered a battery and wires, which are currently under examination to determine their connection to the incident.
