Delhi BJP Accuses Kejriwal Of Rigging Voters’ List Ahead of Assembly Polls

On Thursday, the Delhi BJP accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal of attempting to ‘retain power’ in the upcoming Assembly elections by adding bogus voters to the electoral list.

The Delhi BJP released a poster mocking Kejriwal, comparing him to a character from the series ‘SCAM 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story’, which focuses on stock market scams.

The Delhi BJP altered the original poster’s tagline from ‘Risk hai toh Ishq hai’ to ‘Farzi voters se Ishq hai,’ suggesting Kejriwal’s alleged ties to fake voters.

They also renamed the series to ‘Mahathag Original, Voter List Scam 2024.’

Taking to X, Delhi BJP posted, “This fraudster has created thousands of votes (of a special community with ages ranging from 40-80) on the address of a house owner, who is unaware of the development.”

The Delhi BJP recently released a video criticizing Kejriwal’s alleged opportunistic approach, comparing him to Sanjeev Kumar’s character in ‘Naya Din Nai Raat’, who plays multiple roles to fit different scenarios.

The party also accused Kejriwal of orchestrating widespread voter fraud ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.

In addition, Delhi BJP chief Virendraa Sachdeva accused Kejriwal of large-scale voter fraud, alleging that fake minority community votes added to the electoral rolls.

Sachdeva shared testimonies from Hindu homeowners who claimed that names from the minority community had added to their addresses without their consent.

The BJP also highlighted the number of new voter registration applications it claims to have received in various constituencies, including Narela, Burari, Badli, and others.

According to the BJP, a total of 1,83,000 applications were submitted in districts across Delhi, including large numbers in areas such as Karawal Nagar (7,087 applications) and Okhla (4,601 applications).
