Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited village Gadhara in Singrauli district and distributed free land pattas to 57 poor families under the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana. He also interacted with the beneficiaries after meeting them.
Union Defense Minister Singh congratulated the Chief Minister and the State Government for the generous work of distribution of residential leases to the landless and homeless. He said, ”The welfare of the poor is the commitment of our government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The welfare of the poor is our mantra and also our inspiration. In Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Chouhan is working with this basic mantra, and he deserves thanks and congratulations.”
Chief Minister Chouhan said, ”I am very happy to see the expressions of happiness on the faces of the beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Bhu Adhikar Yojana. I am so glad to see the happiness on the faces of the children.” The Chief Minister said that every person has a right to a piece of land to live on. Residential pattas will be given to every poor family of the state. The Chief Minister said that the poor families living on other’s land always had the fear of eviction. Similarly, the number of members of poor families who had built houses on government land was increasing but their houses were not. To get rid of all these problems, Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme is being implemented in the state. The Chief Minister said that pattas will be distributed under the scheme in all the districts of the state. Along with this, these beneficiaries will also be benefited from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Union Defense Minister Singh and Chief Minister Chouhan sat on the ground and tasted Bathua ka saag, gram bhaji, bajra roti, haath poi roti, sesame laddoos, kodo rice and local delicacies along with the beneficiaries. He said that self-satisfaction is achieved by having food provided by beneficiaries with love. With their affection, the heart becomes filled with joy and happiness. The state’s Minister of Minerals and in-charge of the district, Brijendra Pratap Singh, and MLA Devsar Subhash Verma also had food.
More than 25 thousand families, who were waiting for land to build houses for years, became the owners of the land by getting pattas from the Mukhyamantri Awasiya Yojana. Feelings of happiness were visible on the faces of the beneficiaries after receiving the title deeds of the residential land. Beneficiary Meena Baiga of village Gadhara said that now I will also get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and now my dream of building a house will be fulfilled. Babulal Panika said that the Chief Minister has made us the owner of the land by giving residential lease. Till now we were living by building huts on other’s land. There was always worry hovering our heads, but now we are free from worry. Kamla Saket and Lalchand Saket, who were benefited from the scheme. Our dream of land has been fulfilled. We had never even dreamed that we would get land to live on. The government has taken care of us poor. We thank the Chief Minister a lot for this. Similarly, Santosh Baiga, Gopaldas Panika, and other beneficiaries, who received the title deeds of residential land, also expressed their happiness.
