Amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha election 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday addressed a public rally in Bardhaman-Durgapur, West Bengal.
Prime Minister Modi asserted that his prediction about Rahul Gandhi seeking another constituency due to the fear of losing in Wayanad has come true. PM Modi suggested that the Congress party’s strategy seems focused on winning seats rather than the welfare of the nation, indicating a divisive approach. He highlighted his belief that the upcoming elections will result in fewer seats for the Congress party.
PM Modi questioned the TMC government about the grave crime against Dalit sisters in Sandeshkhali. He highlighted the nationwide demand for action and criticized the TMC for seemingly protecting the culprit. The Prime Minister raised concerns about whether the protection was solely due to the culprit’s name being Shahjahan Sheikh.
Prime Minister’s statement unveiled a long-hidden truth about the political landscape. He highlighted the clandestine operation of Vote Jihad that has persisted for decades.
Emphasizing the unprecedented move by the INDI Alliance to openly acknowledge this practice, PM underscored the profound disillusionment within the alliance.
Moreover, the Prime Minister pointed out the conspicuous silence of prominent political entities like the Congress, TMC, and Left, suggesting complicity in the endorsement of Vote Jihad within the alliance’s internal dynamics.
The PM added that this revelation not only sheds light on the intricacies of electoral strategies but also raises significant questions about the integrity of democratic processes in the country.
Prime Minister Modi expressed dismay over recent remarks made by an MLA of TMC, who purportedly advocated for throwing Hindus into the Bhagirathi river. Criticizing such rhetoric, the Prime Minister questioned the nature of politics being practiced.
Prime Minister Modi asserted that the Constitution of India clearly prohibits the provision of reservation based on one’s faith. Challenging the Congress and the INDI Alliance, PM Modi urged them to provide a written statement affirming their commitment not to amend the Constitution to further their appeasement politics.
