The officials said that a CRPF jawan today allegedly committed suicide in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
They stated that Constable Yogesh Ashok Birhade, a resident of Maharashtra, died after shooting himself with his service rifle at JIC Awantipora in Pulwama.
Birhade was alleged to be on sentry duty when he took the drastic step.
