Covid-19 Variant BF.7: How Effective Will Be The Old Vaccine On The New Variant BF.7 Of Corona? Shocking Revelation In The Study

Covid-19 Variant BF.7: The second wave of Corona created fear among the people of the whole country. There was such a scene of fear, pain, helplessness and suffering everywhere, seeing and hearing which the mind used to get distracted during that crisis. Somewhere even after visiting all the hospitals in the area, there was no one to take care of the patients suffering due to non-availability of beds and lack of oxygen. So somewhere the long queue of dead bodies at the cremation ground was telling its havoc. At the same time, Omicron is once again becoming a big threat in the news coming from China and other countries of the world. This time its new variant BF.7 (Omicron New Variant BF.7) is spreading rapidly across the world.

Covid-19 Variant BF.7: Omicron In India

If we look at the spread of Omicron in India, so far only 4 cases of its new variant BF-7 have been reported. At the same time, concern is being seen among people about how effective the old vaccine will be on this new variant. In a study done on vaccine and virus, some such things have come to know, which are shocking.

Old Vaccine BF. How Effective Will It Be On 7 ?

According to the study of Cell Host and Microbe Journal, the BF.7 variant is quite different from the Corona variant so far. It has also been revealed in this study that the BF-7 variant is more powerful than the earlier variants. Its immunity is 4.4 times more than the variants of the corona virus so far.

If any kind of antibody has been made in the person’s body due to the vaccine, then this virus can still infect him. This variant has been created due to the R346T mutation in the spike protein of the corona. According to the study, it is also known about antibodies that antibodies do not affect this variant.

If seen in scientific language, the R value of BF-7 is between 10 to 18. Because of which its infection can spread to 10 to 18 people who come in contact with a person infected with this variant. The World Health Organization (WHO) has also accepted that the R value of variant BF-7 is the highest. Earlier, the R value of the alpha variant of the corona virus was between 4-5, while the R value of the delta variant was 6-7.
