Covid-19 Cases Soar Over 3000, Three Died In Maharashtra And Two In Delhi

The Covid-19 cases of 3,061 count have been reported in India in the last five months. According to statistics from the Union health ministry, the active infection cases have increased to 13,509 across the nation.

Prior to this, officials reported that a total of 2,208 cases were noted on October 28 of the previous year.

According to the health ministry officials, there have been seven recent fatalities, with three reported from Maharashtra, one from Karnataka, and three from Kerala. The total number of covid-19 cases in the nation is 5,30,862. The states with the highest rate of rise in cases include Maharashtra, Gujarat, Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Delhi.

With a positive rate of 13.9% on Wednesday, Delhi reported 300 cases. Moreover, two deaths in the past 24 hours in the national capital have been reported. Maharashtra has seen 483 new cases and three deaths.

Daily active Covid-19 cases have jumped 40% over the past weeks, according to Union Health Ministry representatives.

Latest data by the union health ministry

44 districts, located throughout 18 states and union territories, are showing a positivity rate of at least 10%. According to information on COVID positivity rates collected between March 21 and March 27, there are 72 districts with a positivity rate of 5 to 10%.
