Congress targets BJP over ED raids in Rajasthan

With the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducting raids on various Congress leaders’ residence in Rajasthan the grand old party hits back and termed these raids as “misuse” of central agencies by the NDA government in the centre.  Congress also said that people will give a fitting reply to Bhartiya Janata Party in the upcoming assembly elections.

“Whenever election approaches, ED, Income Tax (IT) , Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) become the weapon of BJP led NDA government. This time , sure to face certain defeat, the saffron outfit has thrown the dice in the form of ED,” said Mallikarjun Kharge , president Congress. Kharge took to his twitter handle to express this.

It is to be noted that earlier the central agencies conducted raids in the residence of various Congress leaders in Chhattisgarh. Taking this point, Kharge termed it as the “dictatorship” of Modi government.

Senior Congress leader Pawan Khera said that previously BJP had the capital in the form of Modi’s popularity and now it has evaporated and hence the party resorted to misuse of the central agencies.

Upcoming Assembly elections in Rajasthan will be a direct fight between Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party. Each confident of pipping the other.
