Lucknow : UP Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath said that everyone is aware that Congress’ policies have contributed to the rise of Naxalism and terrorism in the country. He lashed out at Congress at an address to the media at his official home on Wednesday, just before departing on a visit of Maharashtra. He stated that Congress is the country’s oldest political party, but it lost direction after independence and is now leaderless.
“The bad result of waywardness is that numerous Congress leaders have consistently made vicious attempts to slur, disrespect India’s heritage and culture, and discredit Sanatan in every manner. The same sad circumstance was experienced during the UPA regime, when top Congress politician and then Union Home Minister made deliberate attempt to disrespect and degrade India’s Sanatan culture in front of the world in the name of saffron terrorism.
The chief minister stated that under Modiji’s leadership, the problem of terrorism and Naxalism has been resolved. Extremism-terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as chaos in the Northeast, has been curtailed. During the UPA regime, around 115-120 districts in 17 states were under Naxalite control, and governments lacked the will power to combat terrorism, Naxalism, and extremism, which contributed to chaos and unrest in the country, but Naxalism has now been contained. Naxalism has been reduced to two or three districts in several states, and he claims that it would be wiped from the country very soon.
When the results of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are announced on June 4, Modiji will be elected Prime Minister of the country with an overwhelming majority. His third term will be a watershed moment for India’s economy, security, independence, and development. This would be a source of pride for all Indians, he continued.
CM Yogi stated that the Congress’ strategy of Muslim appeasement has led to the country’s split. This demonstrates that the Congress leadership had become puppets in the hands of those responsible for the country’s split by insulting and undermining India’s timeless culture and tradition. Those who have consistently cursed India and Indianness, causing irreparable harm to it. He claimed that Congress is repeatedly humiliating India, playing into their hands.
