TS Singh Deo and PM Modi
TS Singh Deo on PM Modi: Chhattisgarh’s Deputy Chief Minister and Congress leader TS Singh Deo has praised the leadership of the central government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He stated that the Modi government does not discriminate against states. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to lead Prime Minister Modi in the land of Chhattisgarh.
“We’ve asked for some things, and the central government hasn’t refused,” said TS Deo. He added, “In Chhattisgarh, we have seen how the work done by the central government is benefiting about 1 out of 10 individuals, and I have never seen any bias from the central government. If we have worked in the state and asked for something, they have not refused to provide it. The mutual respect and cooperation between leaders of opposing parties have demonstrated the beauty of federalism.”
TS Singh Deo expressed his belief that in the future, they will continue to advance the federal system’s arrangements collaboratively, whether in the healthcare sector, education, industrialization, or employment, ensuring consistent development in all sectors.
It’s worth noting that Prime Minister Modi was on a visit to Chhattisgarh during this time. During his visit, he dedicated several railway projects worth 6,350 crores and laid the foundation stone for “Critical Care Blocks” in 9 districts of Chhattisgarh.
PM Modi mentioned the G20 Summit during his rally in Raigarh, saying that several world leaders who had come to India for the G20 Summit a few days ago were influenced by India’s development. He emphasized that every state and region is receiving equal importance, and Chhattisgarh is like a powerhouse of development in the country. He mentioned the significant progress made in various aspects of Chhattisgarh’s development over the past nine years and how a new chapter is being written in the state’s railway development.
