Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted a thorough inspection of the construction works for the Ganga Expressway, a major infrastructure project connecting Meerut to Prayagraj, during his visit to Hardoi and Shahjahanpur.
His review underlined the government’s commitment to ensuring the timely completion of one of India’s most ambitious expressway projects.
Joining the Chief Minister during the inspection were Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, officers from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEDA), and representatives from the Adani Group, the lead agency responsible for the project’s construction from Budaun to Prayagraj.
The presence of senior officials reflected the importance placed on the expressway, which is expected to significantly boost regional connectivity and economic growth.
The Adani Group, entrusted with building a 464-kilometre stretch of the expressway, has deployed a highly skilled team of engineers, technicians, and workers to accelerate the project’s execution.
Equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and advanced construction technologies, the team is working diligently to transform the vision of seamless connectivity into reality.
The expressway, once completed, will not only reduce travel time between western and eastern Uttar Pradesh but also open up new economic corridors across the region.
CM Yogi Adityanath expressed satisfaction over the speed and quality of the work, appreciating the commitment shown by the Adani Group and UPEDA in maintaining high standards of engineering and safety.
Highlighting the broader vision behind the expressway, CM Yogi reiterated that projects like the Ganga Expressway form the backbone of Uttar Pradesh’s economic transformation.
By improving logistics, easing transportation, and fostering regional development, such initiatives will contribute towards the state’s goal of becoming a trillion-dollar economy.
The Ganga Expressway will connect rural areas with major urban centres, facilitate industrial growth, generate employment opportunities, and drive comprehensive development.
As work progresses swiftly with the support of modern technology and dedicated workforce efforts, the Ganga Expressway stands poised to be a model for future infrastructure development in India.
CM Yogi’s regular inspections and hands-on leadership are ensuring that the expressway meets its ambitious targets in both quality and timeline.
