Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday on Wednesday sparked a wave of congratulatory messages from across the nation, reflecting widespread respect for his leadership and a spirit of unity transcending political lines.
In Tamil Nadu, Chief Minister MK Stalin took to social media to send his greetings, writing, “Birthday greetings to Hon’ble @PMOIndia Thiru. @narendramodi. I convey my wishes for his good health, happiness, and a long life.”
Stalin’s message signalled goodwill beyond partisan divides.
AIADMK General Secretary and Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami also lauded PM Modi’s leadership, describing it as ‘visionary’ and an inspiration to millions.
From the cultural sphere, music maestro Ilaiyaraaja, recently honoured for his five decades in music, extended heartfelt birthday greetings to PM Modi during a public event.
Adding to the chorus of well-wishers, former Prime Minister and JD(S) Rajya Sabha member HD Deve Gowda sent a personal letter to PM Modi.
He commended the Prime Minister’s 11 years of leadership, noting the socio-economic stability and security achieved under his tenure.
Deve Gowda highlighted how PM Modi had dispelled the long-held belief that only the Congress party could unite India, pointing to a new era of national confidence rooted in cultural identity and democratic strength.
He wrote, “You have repeatedly showcased our civilisational strength and resilience before the world,” and credited PM Modi for inspiring a national resurgence poised to elevate India to unprecedented heights.
He further praised PM Modi’s adept handling of military conflicts and economic challenges, noting India’s emerging stature as an equal negotiator on the global stage, no longer reliant on aid but setting its own terms.
“Your ‘nation first’ slogan has not been an empty one,” he affirmed, concluding with heartfelt wishes for PM Modi’s long life and good health.
Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel HD Kumaraswamy, Deve Gowda’s son, echoed these sentiments on social media, calling PM Modi an ‘unmatched global leader’ whose vision for a self-reliant India inspires pride nationwide.
He also praised the Prime Minister’s dedication and welfare programmes as models of public service, praying for his continued health and leadership towards making India a global power.
From political stalwarts to cultural legends, the outpouring of goodwill on PM Modi’s 75th birthday highlights the broad respect and affection he commands across India.
These greetings from Tamil Nadu leaders and others stand as a testament to his enduring influence and the hope his vision inspires for India’s future.
