CM Shivraj Said: Islamnagar Will Be known as Jagdishpur, Lost Identity Found After 308 years

CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Jagdishpur is getting its lost identity after 308 years. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Gaurav Diwas program at Chaman Mahal in Jagdishpur. Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of works worth Rs 26 crore 71 lakh 86 thousand.

He also unveiled the Jagdishpur’s naming stone . MP Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, MLA Vishnu Khatri, President MP State Electronics Development Corporation Shaitan Singh Pal and Kedar Singh Mandloi were present.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that historically Jagdishpur was the stronghold of Deora Rajputs. Dost Mohammad Khan took over Jagdishpur and named it Islamnagar. God Mahal, Rani Mahal and Chaman Mahal are the main tourist places in Jagdishpur.

Chief Minister Chouhan has reinforced the Lambakheda to Jagdishpur road, Bhadbhada to Nipania Jat road, Lambakheda to Nipalia Bajkhan road, Brickkhedi to Acharpura road.

Inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of works like 33:11 KV power sub-station Parewakheda, Brickkhedi MRF Center, Sanitation Complex Gram Panchayat Acharpura, Golkhedi, Jagdishpur, Brickkhedi. road, Khejra Dev, Ninania Jat, drain construction work of Gram Panchayat Raipur, Jagdishpur and Nipania Jat.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that today all of us are filled with joy and happiness. The injustice and vandalism that happened 308 years ago was done by Afghani. Jagdishpur was settled by Rajputs. The ruler here was Narsingh Deora. Jagdishpur fort is known for its architecture. Dost Mohammad Khan invited Raja Narsingh Deora and was murdered while having a meal. The queens did Jal Jauhar. Today, after 75 years of independence, we have again been able to name the place Jagdishpur.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the present government are making the impossible work possible. The old and glorious names should be brought back. Keeping in mind the events of history, the changing the name is in process. The name of Habibganj railway station has been changed to Rani Kamlapati.

Many more such names will be changed. The world of Jagdishpur will be re-established. He instructed the administration to prepare a master plan for the villages. Jagdishpur should become such a village that people keep watching. He said that a memorial of the kings would be built here.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a new river of development is flowing through the Vikas Yatra. He said that Ladli Lakshmi Yojana was made to make the daughter a blessing. So far 44 lakh Ladli Lakshmi have been born in the state. Similarly, the Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana was created. Now the Ladli Bahna scheme has been made to empower the sisters. In this scheme, an amount of one thousand rupees will be given every month in the accounts of poor sisters. He said that farmers are being given Samman Nidhi by the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that plans are being made one after the other. There is an attempt to change the lives of the people. The old age pension amount will be increased from Rs.600 to Rs.1000. From coming March 5, work will be done by setting up camps in every village under the Mukhya mantri Bahna Yojana. Money will start coming from the month of June. It is a campaign to change the lives of the people. He said that we are trying to take care like a family. May everyone be blessed and well, may everyone be happy. He sought public cooperation in development works.

Member of Parliament Pragya Singh Thakur said that the people of Jagdishpur wanted to change its name from Islamnagar to Jagdishpur. He said that when we were independent then its name was Islamnagar. Jagdishpur has a history of its own. Keeping this in mind, the name Jagdishpur has been given again. Jagdishpur has returned to its old glory. Continuous work is being done by the central and state government for development. MP Thakur suggested the construction of a grand Jagdish Bhagwan temple in the village.

While giving the welcome address, Berasia MLA Vishnu Khatri said that today Jagdishpur has got an opportunity to celebrate its Pride Day. This is a historical moment. He said that this moment has been seen after 308 years. When the name of Islamnagar has been changed again to Jagdishpur. This has become possible due to the activeness of Chief Minister Chouhan. He said that no shortage of development works will be left to make Jagdishpur an ideal panchayat. The works of social concern and public participation will be carried forward. Demanded to build a memorial for the sacrificial kings on the banks of the Wanganga.

In the beginning, Chief Minister Chouhan reached the stage and welcomed the sages and saints with shawl and shreefal and worshiped the girl child. He started the program by lighting the lamp, Vande Mataram was sung. The villagers welcomed the guests by wearing safa. Public representatives and a large number of villagers were present in the programme.
