Celebrities Gather To Pay Tribute To Legendary Poet Gopal Das ‘Neeraj’

The Press Club in the capital is hosting a Kavyanjali program today to commemorate the sixth death anniversary of renowned poet, lyricist, and writer Gopal Das ‘Neeraj’. The event has drawn a plethora of celebrities from the film industry and politics, including CMD of Bharat Express Upendra Rai.

The program commenced with a lamp-lighting ceremony, led by Padma Shri Surendra Sharma, Madhya Pradesh government minister Vishwas Sarang, and film producer Boney Kapoor. Other notable figures in attendance include Bharat Express Chairman Upendra Rai, film actor Annu Kapoor, Rumi Jafri, and JDU leader KC Tyagi.

The ‘Neeraj Samman Samaroh’ is a joint effort by Bharat Express Chairman Upendra Rai, Gopal Das Neeraj’s son Mrigank Prabhakar, the Press Club, Hindi Academy, and Mahakavi Gopaldas Neeraj Foundation Trust, with CMD Upendra Rai serving as the patron of the trust.
