She also highlighted improvements in workplace safety and maternity benefits, which will empower women to contribute more actively to the workforce.
Boost for MSMEs And Startups
Syed Raza Hussain Rizvi, MRM’s National Convener, welcomed the increased loan guarantee cover for MSMEs, which will now be raised from ₹5 crore to ₹10 crore. He also noted that startups will benefit from loans up to ₹20 crore, fostering innovation and creating job opportunities for India’s young entrepreneurs.
Healthcare Reforms For All
Dr. Majid Talikoti, MRM’s healthcare convener, commended the budget’s focus on improving medical facilities. Key measures include the abolition of customs duties on 36 life-saving medicines and the establishment of cancer care centers in every district.
