The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh has announced plans to expand the boundaries of three cities that is Varanasi, Gorakhpur, and Prayagraj. The report came out from the desk of an official.
A government spokesperson said that the authorities will convert several villages into the Development Authorities of these cities.
Additionally, the Cabinet has approved a significant method to impose life imprisonment on those who leak exam papers in the state, with fines up to Rs 1 crore for offenders. An ordinance for this proposed law has been approved by the government.

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet has also decided to allocate free land near the Shakumbhari Devi temple to the Tourism Department. Another approved proposal includes leasing Rahi tourist houses in Amethi, Bulandshahr, Barabanki, and Sitapur. The Cabinet has given the green light for building helipads on a PPP model in Lucknow, Prayagraj, and Kapilvastu, and for reusing ancient heritage sites like Barsana Jal Mahal in Mathura and Shukla Talab in Kanpur on a PPP model.
Additionally, the government has approved the allocation of land to transform Paramhans Yogananda Sthal in Gorakhpur into a tourist destination.
In Ayodhya, the Tata Group will construct a temple museum at an estimated cost of Rs 750 crore from its CSR fund, with the Tourism Department providing the land on a 90-year free lease. These proposals have also received Cabinet approval.
