Bomb Threats Trigger Evacuation Across Delhi Schools & Courts

Security agencies evacuated two schools and three major courts in Delhi on Tuesday after they received bomb threat emails, triggering an extensive security response across the national capital.

The senders issued the threat messages on Tuesday morning to a CRPF school in Dwarka, a school in Prashant Vihar, and three courts — Saket Court, Patiala House Court, and Rohini Court — causing widespread concern among parents, students, and legal professionals.

Upon receiving the alerts, Delhi Police teams, emergency responders, and bomb disposal squads immediately reached all five locations.

Fire Department personnel also joined the operation to ensure thorough checks of every building.

Authorities evacuated students, school staff, and court officials as a precaution while security teams searched the premises.

At Saket Court, the Bar Association issued a message informing members that it would suspend court work for two hours because of a security alert.

Officials urged everyone to remain calm and avoid crowding as teams carried out the checks.

No Suspicious Items Found; Threat Declared a Hoax

By late morning, police confirmed that officers had found no suspicious objects at any of the locations.

Officials said that teams thoroughly searched both schools and ultimately declared the threats a hoax.

Investigators are now working to trace the source of the emails and determine whether the incidents are linked to previous threats received across the city.

In response to the latest threat emails, authorities have reinforced security across all district courts in Delhi.

Additional personnel have been deployed, and access checks have been tightened as a precaution. Authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any unusual activity.

Context: Recent Blast Heightens Sensitivity

The wave of threats comes just days after a car explosion in Delhi involving a Hyundai i20, which resulted in at least 13 deaths and several injuries.

Police have identified Dr Umar Muhammad, linked to the Faridabad terror module, as the driver of the vehicle at the time of the explosion.

The recent incident has heightened anxiety in the national capital, making the latest threat emails particularly alarming.

Officials continue to investigate all five sites and are working to trace the origin of the emails.

Although the threats turned out to be hoaxes, authorities remain on high alert to ensure public safety, especially since several Delhi schools received similar threat emails earlier this month.
