Stalin said that what the central government is trying to do is nothing but political conspiracy against women from backward communities. Commenting on the passage of the women’s reservation bill Tamil Nadu Chief Minister said that it is nothing but a hidden motive to ensure 33 per cent reservation for women but limiting it to population census and delimitation for its implementation. “All the religions should get equal rights and whatever we need, should be given equally to everyone,” Stalin said.
Congress leader Sonia Gandhi who was present on the occasion said that unless the women’s reservation bill is implemented INDIA alliance’s fight will continue. “The Women’s Reservation Bill has been passed. But it still has a long way to go. And when the bill will be implemented is our question. We are going to fight for it till we don’t get it,” said the former Congress President.
