On Saturday, the BJP unveiled a scathing poster targeting Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, dubbing him as ‘Bhrastachar Ka Betaaj Badshah’.
The official Delhi BJP handle shared the poster on Social Media with the caption, ‘Bhrastachari jail ke andar ho ya bahar, Bhrastachari Bhrastachari hota hai!’.
The BJP’s move signals a strategy to confront Kejriwal and AAP on the issue of corruption, as they fear Kejriwal might attempt to sway the election campaign in his favor while out on bail.
The party aims to draw attention to allegations of corruption surrounding Kejriwal and AAP, emphasizing that the character of a corrupt individual does not change whether they are behind bars or free.
Moreover, the BJP plans to raise concerns about ‘Khalistani funding’ to AAP, particularly in Punjab.
Alongside addressing corruption issues in Delhi, the BJP seeks to send a strong political message to Punjab, emphasizing national security concerns linked to AAP and Kejriwal.
As the political landscape heats up ahead of elections, the clash between AAP and BJP intensifies, with corruption allegations and national security emerging as key battlegrounds.
Kejriwal’s release on bail has reignited the debate over ethics and governance, setting the stage for a contentious electoral showdown.
Following his release from jail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal visited the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place on Saturday.
Joining him were his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, and senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and MP Sanjay Singh.
Without delay, Kejriwal resumed his campaign activities on the very same day.
