A gathering of Bharatiya Janata Party factions convened at Argora’s banquet hall for discussions encompassing election arrangements and the state’s political landscape. State President and former Chief Minister, Babulal Marandi, attributed the state’s problems to the Chief Minister’s alleged corruption. He highlighted the hasty approval of an MLA’s abrupt resignation, sparking questions about the timing and validity.

Post-meeting, BJP’s Legislature Party leader, Amar Bawri, revealed that the party forwarded a letter to the Governor, invoking constitutional provisions due to the state’s political unrest. The letter urged caution regarding the appointment of a non-MLA as Chief Minister. Bawri expressed concern that the incumbent Chief Minister, holding a constitutional position, was undermining another constitutional institution, aggravating the crisis.
