During The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, BJP MLA Rajeshwar Singh from Sarojini Nagar praised the Yogi government for the budget.
He said, “This time the size of capital expenditure in the budget is Rs 1 lakh 87 thousand crores. In the BSP government, the total budget was only 1 lakh crores”.
The opposition raised the name of the Deloitte company in the discussion.
Targeting the government, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav said, “You are giving Rs 200 crores just to manage data because you haven’t been able to prove yourself”. “You are expending Rs 200 crores to become an economy of Rs 1 trillion dollars !”, he added.
Akhilesh Yadav further said, “Your economic advisors failed, so many officials failed, your planning commission failed, your finance department failed… Will you take suggestions from Deloitte Company by paying Rs 200 crores?”
In response to SP Chief, BJP MLA said, “Deloitte is one of the 4th largest consultancy companies in the world”.
He further said, “The turnover of this company is Rs 7 lakh 20 thousand crores from empty consultancy, it has more than 600 offices in 150 countries and more than 6.25 lakh employees”.
“If such a world-class company helps Uttar Pradesh to become an economy of Rs 1 trillion dollars, then we should welcome it”, he added.
Rajeshwar Singh stated that the opposition is asking how the target of 1 trillion economies will be achieved.
The investors of the world have so much faith in India that even during the Corona period foreign investment of more than Rs 7 lakh crores came. He said that the world has signed MoUs worth Rs 33 lakh crore while expressing confidence in the Yogi government.
