On the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, people enthusiastically participated in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign on Sunday, contributing to community service. MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh from Sarojninagar also took part in the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign. He participated in a cleanliness program at Lawrence Terrace Colony Park in Hazratganj and pledged to promote environmental conservation through tree planting. During this event, the MLA honored the tireless efforts of sanitation workers who have helped Lucknow progress from ranking 269th in cleanliness in 2017 to 12th in the country in 2021. Lucknow now has a three-star rating for being a garbage-free city. He expressed gratitude to over 15,000 sanitation workers, who are also our COVID-19 warriors.
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh emphasized that a clean and tidy society fosters a healthy mind, stating, “A clean environment is as essential as freedom. Where there is cleanliness, there is the presence of the divine, and where there is divinity, there is happiness, peace, and prosperity. We must not only keep our homes clean but also keep our surroundings and our country clean because a healthy mind develops in a clean and tidy society, and a healthy mind can contribute fully to the nation’s development.”
He also stressed the importance of raising awareness about increasing pollution levels, highlighting that it is our duty to preserve the environment. As part of this initiative, eco-friendly bags are being distributed to school children in Sarojninagar to make the younger generation aware of environmental conservation.
Finally, he lauded the BJP as a party dedicated to principles, committed to India’s future, and dedicated to cultural nationalism. He emphasized that in the BJP, there are no positions; instead, it is a duty, a duty of public service and nation-building. He credited the party’s top leadership for India’s rising presence on the global stage.

In his address, Dr. Rajeshwar Singh praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, highlighting India’s progress as an economic powerhouse. He also mentioned the improved security situation under Home Minister Amit Shah and the strong borders ensured by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. He commended the consistent growth of the BJP under the leadership of JP Nadda.
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh stated that under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is reaching new heights of development. He mentioned various achievements, including advancements in business, international airports, metro systems, and improved law and order.
He pointed out that the BJP has formed governments in 16 states and has 303 Members of Parliament. He stressed the need to unite India and work towards making it the world’s number one economy. He called for ensuring the benefits of Antyodaya (upliftment of the poorest) reach every citizen and urged everyone to work towards making BJP victorious in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with Narendra Modi as Prime Minister for the third time.
Dr. Rajeshwar Singh also announced the establishment of a “Senior Citizen Help Desk” to address the issues of elderly citizens and pledged to organize a “Ramrath Ayodhya Pilgrimage” for club members to visit Ayodhya.
He highlighted the significant contributions of senior citizens in the country’s progress and development and expressed gratitude for their sacrifices and dedication. He emphasized that their contributions are invaluable and have played a pivotal role in shaping India’s growth.
