Bill Gates Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and he praised India for the remarkable praises India for remarkable progress in health, climate change, and other crucial areas.
The Microsoft co-founder said, “We talked about India’s incredible progress and how Indian innovation can benefit the world. My conversation with the Prime Minister left me more optimistic than ever about the progress that India is making in health, development, and climate. The country is showing what’s possible when we invest in innovation”.
Mr. Gates took to Twitter to express his heart. He tweeted, “My conversation with Prime Minister @narendramodi left me more optimistic than ever about the progress that India is making in health, development, and climate. http://gatesnot.es/41LXly8@PMOIndia”, through his official Twitter handle.
PM Modi too expressed his happiness. He retweeted Gates’s tweet with a comment, “Delighted to meet @BillGates and have extensive discussions on key issues. His humility and passion to create a better as well as more sustainable planet are clearly visible”, through his official Twitter handle.
Bill Gates said, “I enjoyed discussing India’s remarkable progress with Prime Minister Modi”.
He further said, “I’ve been in India this week, learning about the innovative work going on here in health, climate change, and other crucial areas. At a time when the world has so many challenges, it’s inspiring to visit a dynamic and creative place like India.
“I hope India will continue this progress and share its innovations with the world. I’m proud that the Gates Foundation will be a partner along the way”, Mr. Gates added.
