Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary Launches Bihar AI Summit 2026 In Patna

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary formally launched the Bihar AI Summit-2026 at the Urja Auditorium in Patna, emphasising the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence in administration and public safety.

Key Takeaways

CM Choudhary remarked that Bihar is progressing swiftly. He urged migrants from the state to return and take part in its development journey.

Discussing technological adoption, the Chief Minister pointed to the use of AI-powered surveillance systems in law enforcement. He stated that such technologies enable quicker identification and capture of offenders, thereby strengthening policing efficiency.

Clarifying a reference made during his address, Bihar CM explained that his mention of green ‘gamchas’ was purely illustrative and not directed at any community. He said the example was intended to show how AI-enabled cameras can instantly recognise individuals.

Reinforcing the principle of equality, CM Choudhary stated that crime is not linked to caste or religion and affirmed that the law will be enforced without bias. He highlighted the government’s resolve to ensure fair and transparent governance.

The Bihar CM further noted that law enforcement agencies have been granted full autonomy to act decisively.

Issuing a warning, CM Choudhary said that anyone attempting to disturb public order would face strict consequences.

The Chief Minister reiterated that Bihar will continue to follow a firm policy of crime control through fast-track trials. He added that the state will maintain a robust administrative system to support effective governance and law enforcement.

CM Choudhary stressed that no one would be spared if they attempted to challenge the rule of law.

Referring to his earlier statement, Bihar CM said that criminals confronting the police would be dealt with firmly within 48 hours. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to curbing crime and strengthening governance.

The Bihar AI Summit-2026 reflects the state’s push towards adopting advanced technologies in governance. The initiative is also expected to improve administrative processes, bolster security systems, and contribute to Bihar’s long-term growth.
