Big Industrial Parks Being Established In UP Will Provide 2.70 Lakh Jobs

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh, which is moving towards becoming an industrial state under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi, is also emerging as a new center of employment. Private industrial parks also have a major contribution to the investments that have come to the ground in Uttar Pradesh under the Ground Breaking Ceremony (GBC 4.0). Investors have invested in private industrial parks in many districts of the state.

Through these 13 biggest parks that are being established, along with an investment of Rs 14,634 crore, employment is also going to be created for 2.70 lakh people in the state. Of these, 2.5 lakh jobs are going to be created from the industrial park being established in Kanpur city alone. At the same time, industrial parks are also being established in Baghpat, Barabanki, Bareilly, Chandauli, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Meerut, Saharanpur and Shahjahanpur. It is noteworthy that last February itself, the Yogi government launched more than 14 thousand projects worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore across the state through GBC 4.0, which is likely to provide 34 lakh jobs.

Creation of bumper jobs in Kanpur:

A state government spokesperson said, “Kanpur city is ready to provide maximum employment, registering the biggest achievement in the case of private industrial park. Here Mega Leather Cluster Development (UP) Ltd, a private industrial park is being established for Rs 5850 crore. This industrial park will employ a record 2.5 lakh people. This is the largest number of jobs being created through the industrial park. With its launch, the industrial identity of Kanpur city will be further strengthened and it will also move towards becoming an employment hub. Along with this, Crescendo Interiors is setting up a private industrial park in Ayodhya for Rs 500 crore which will employ 100 people, while in Barabanki, Lucknow HM Green City Pvt. Ltd. establishing a private industrial park with Rs 150 crore. After its establishment, 200 people will get employment here. Also in Shahjahanpur is LatestPlus Apparel Pvt. Ltd, an industrial park is being built with an investment of Rs 5000 crore. This park will employ 1000 people. Apart from this, Realply Plywoods LLP in Bareilly is employing 1000 people through a project being started for Rs 408 crore, while in Chandauli, DRS Developers is arranging employment for 150 people under the pledge scheme with an investment of Rs 50 crore.”

Industrial parks will provide thousands of jobs in Paschimanchal:

He said that industrial parks are being established on a large scale in Paschimanchal also. In this, BMR Buildcon Projects Pvt. Ltd. is setting up a 30-acre industrial park worth Rs 200 crore in Baghpat which will create jobs for 1200 people, while in Baghpat itself Kalindi Estate Pvt. Ltd is also setting up a 25-acre industrial park worth Rs 200 crore, after which 1430 people will be able to get employment. Similarly, Multiwings Electric LLP is constructing a logistics park in Ghaziabad with a cost of Rs 500 crore. It will be able to provide jobs for 800 people. Whereas Shiv Shankar Industries is investing Rs 350 crore in Hapur, which will open the doors of employment for 500 people. Vishwakarma Industrial Estate is building an industrial park in Meerut for Rs 626 crore, which will employ 6570 people. Paswara Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd in Meerut itself is also investing in a project worth Rs 300 crore in the industrial park which will employ 500 people. Pulastaya Industrial Park Ltd. in Saharanpur is also constructing an industrial park with Rs 500 crore. This is expected to provide a livelihood to 5000 people.

Industrial parks will be equipped with every facility:

In these private industrial parks being established in Uttar Pradesh, all the facilities for industrial units will be available under a roof. The manufacturing zone of the park will have flat factories and factory sheds. Under general facilities, there will be business and shopping centers, incubation centers, hotels and restaurants, hostels, office blocks, health and communication facilities, police and fire stations, etc.

Apart from electricity, water, and road facilities, these industrial parks will also have common effluent treatment plants, and testing and certification labs. Under logistics, facilities like warehouse, container and truck terminal, railway siding infrastructure, fuel station etc. will also be available. Apart from this, there will also be a green zone full of greenery. Not only this, from a security point of view, facilities like a security guard and a police station will also be provided here.
