In a significant development for Indian television news, Bharat Express, one of the country’s fastest-growing national Hindi news channels, has announced its launch on DD Free Dish Channel No 66.

This move, however, marks a major expansion in the channel’s distribution, enabling free access to millions of households across rural and semi-urban India through the nation’s largest free-to-air DTH platform.

With this new addition, Bharat Express is now available on all major DTH and cable platforms, including:

  • Tata Play (535),
  • Dish TV (671),
  • D2H (753),
  • Airtel DTH (327), and
  • Jio TV (495)

The channel also reaches audiences via cable networks like:

  • Den Network (315),
  • Fastway (308),
  • Hathway (214/212), and
  • NXT Digital (314/317)

This positions Bharat Express alongside the most widely accessible Hindi news channels in the country.

Vision For A National Voice

Upendrra Rai, CMD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, emphasised the channel’s mission, stating, “Our presence on DD Free Dish is a testament to our commitment to making quality journalism accessible to every Indian household. This expansion aligns with our vision of becoming a truly national voice, connecting with audiences across geographies and demographics.”

He further added that DD Free Dish’s increased reach will significantly enhance viewership among Hindi news consumers and offer greater value to advertisers targeting wider rural penetration.

Since its launch, Bharat Express has carved out a reputation for unbiased and impactful journalism, with a strong emphasis on national interest.

The channel’s clear editorial stance and comprehensive news coverage have steadily earned the trust of its viewers, making it a household name in many regions.
