Bengaluru Is In The List Of Lucky Cities to Have Vande Bharat

Bengaluru would be one of the cities in the nation where the Vande Metro will be implemented.

“Being one of the most important urban centers in India, Bengaluru will definitely be one of the first cities to get the Vande Metro,” South Western Railway (SWR) General Manager Sanjeev Kishore said here on Friday.

Towns under a 100 km of radius, like Tumakuru and Hindupur, could get the facility of Vande Bharat, which may look like a local train but gives you the convenience of faster speed and cover longer distances, Kishore mentioned in his statements.

Vande Bharat

The recently introduced Vande Bharat Express trains are making headlines in the travel business since they are faster and have greater amenities than the trains that were previously in service. New trains of this type are about to be introduced thanks to the Vande Bharat Express’s better connectivity between cities.

Ahead of the success of Vande Bharat Express, Bengaluru is all set to have its superpower. The train will probably be introduced, linking Bengaluru and Hyderabad and simplifying travelers’ life. It is anticipated that the Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat will be unveiled this year.

According to the South Central Railway’s announcement, the nation’s IT powerhouse will soon receive a second semi-high-speed train that would run a distance of 570 kilometers between Bengaluru and Hyderabad in Telangana. The new Vande Bharat Express train will travel approx 10-hour drive in 4 hours from Bengaluru to Kacheguda in Hyderabad, said a media report.

The formal announcement

The Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat train launch is anticipated to be made during the presentation of the Union Budget 2023 on February 1 in Parliament.

The goal of the Budget 2023 is to promote tourism and improve connectivity across India by announcing 300–400 new Vande Bharat Express routes across the nation.

In November 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks the start of the inaugural Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express train, which travels the Mysuru-Bengaluru-Chennai route. In south India, it was the first Vande Bharat train to operate.

With a top speed of 160 kph, the Vande Bharat Express train can travel 504 km (Chennai to Mysuru) from here to there in three hours. This indicates that it will take the Bengaluru to Hyderabad VB train about 4 hours to get there.

In addition to the Bengaluru-Hyderabad Vande Bharat Express, it is also rumored that a Bengaluru-Hubballi train will be launched.
