Banthra News: Arrests Continue In Hrithik Pandey Murder Case, MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Offers Support To Bereaved Family

The police administration is actively pursuing justice in the murder case of Hrithik Pandey, the son of a former councilor candidate, in Banthra village, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. Several accused individuals have been arrested so far. Today, MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh visited Banthra, where he met with the victims and offered his condolences.

BJP MLA Dr. Rajeshwar Singh assured that appropriate action would be taken against the criminals, emphasizing the government’s commitment to controlling crime in the state. He met with Hrithik Pandey’s family, providing them with comfort and pledging all possible assistance.

Incident Details

According to media reports, Hrithik Pandey was attacked and beaten by some villagers during a dispute over electricity on the night of July 21 in Banthra village. It is alleged that Himanshu Singh, along with Avnish Pratyush Sunny, Priyanshu, and others, severely assaulted Hrithik, leading to his death. Following the incident, a case was registered against the named individuals.

The police have been conducting raids at 15 locations to apprehend the remaining suspects, with another accused taken into custody early Thursday morning. So far, four police officers, including an inspector, have been suspended in connection with the case.
