Badariya 2026: CMD Upendrra Rai Joins Delhi’s Monsoon Cultural Celebration

Delhi is hosting Badariya 2026, a vibrant celebration marking the farewell of the monsoon season.

The cultural festival is taking place at Talkatora Stadium from 5 PM onwards.

CMD Upendrra Rai is among the prominent figures associated with the celebration. The event seeks to bring India’s rich cultural traditions closer to urban audiences.

Organised by the Mata Chakeri Devi Foundation, Badariya combines classical music, monsoon ragas, traditional dance, cultural exhibitions and community felicitation.

The festival creates a platform for artists, cultural enthusiasts and community leaders to come together.

CMD Upendrra Rai adds significance to an evening centred on India’s cultural legacy and community spirit. His presence comes as Badariya seeks to preserve traditional expressions while presenting them to contemporary audiences.

The festival draws inspiration from the enduring cultural association between the monsoon and Indian art.

Music, dance and folk traditions have long portrayed the rainy season through emotions of joy, romance, separation and renewal.

Badariya 2026 will feature performances rooted in classical and folk traditions.

The programme includes Kajri and monsoon compositions, instrumental renditions and traditional dance presentations.

Cultural displays and monsoon delicacies will further enrich the experience.

The organisers expect more than 2,000 visitors and over 20 artists at the venue.

Entry remains free for registered visitors, while the event includes an honours ceremony recognising contributions to music, art and social welfare.

With CMD Upendrra Rai associated with the occasion, Badariya 2026 brings together cultural expression, community engagement and India’s enduring monsoon traditions in one evening.
