The consecration ceremony rituals of Ramlala at Ayodhya will start from January 17 2024 and will continue till January 22. This religious rituals will be followed 48 days of Mandala Puja and Mandala Abhishekam which will continue till March 7, Mahashivratri.
According to Kanchi Kamakoti Shankaracharya Swami Vijayendra Saraswati, Non-resident Indians living across the country and abroad will also be able to participate as hosts in this Mandal Puja. During this period, 125 Vedic Acharyas will recite the divine texts of the six branches of the four Vedas.
He said that just as there is a tradition of worshiping in Tirupati Balaji from morning till bed time, in the same way Ramlala will also be worshiped. The consecration ceremony of Ramlala is the main celebration of this century. Apart from 50 centers of the country, two heads each were called from the four provinces of Lucknow region.
On this occasion he said that he will leave for Kashi on October 2. There, Pandit Lakshmi Kant Dixit and Pandit Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid, who became the consecrators of Ramlala, will finalize the program of the Pran Pratistha ritual of Ramlala in consultation with Dravid and other scholars.
Similarly like Tirupati Balaji, worship will be done in the prescribed manner from morning till bed time. Shankaracharya said that Lord Shri Ram is the protection idol of Yagya. He will be worshiped in the best possible manner and “Palki Yatra” will also be taken out.
According to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai, arrangements have been made to send the worshiped Akshat to every house in five lakh villages of the country.
