Ayodhya Decked Up For 10th Deepotsav As CM Yogi Calls For Ram Rajya With Development For All

Ayodhya has adorned the holy city with flowers, colourful lights and elaborate decorations ahead of the 10th edition of Deepotsav. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple has emerged as a major attraction for devotees and tourists arriving from across the country.

The temple authorities have decorated the premises, including the courtyard and the main entrance of Ram Lalla, with vibrant lights and floral arrangements.

They have also installed special selfie points for visitors, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Ayodhya will host the grand Deepotsav celebrations on Saturday, a day before Diwali. Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the event.

Organisers will illuminate 56 ghats along the Saryu River with millions of earthen lamps. They will also decorate the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple with colourful lights and hold a symbolic lighting ceremony with 101 lamps in its courtyard.

Visitors will witness Saryu Aarti, tableaux depicting Lord Ram’s life, projection mapping, laser displays and drone shows.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will participate in the ceremonial welcome of Lord Ram, the symbolic coronation, Saryu Aarti and the ceremonial lighting of lamps.

Marking the 10th Deepotsav, Yogi said the festival had become a symbol of Sanatan culture’s revival and Ayodhya’s restored spiritual glory.

He urged people to follow Lord Ram’s ideals and build Ram Rajya, ensuring development reaches the most deprived sections of society.

Welcoming Vice-President Radhakrishnan, diplomats and religious leaders, Yogi said their participation would make the celebrations memorable.

He described lamps as symbols of faith and consciousness, representing the triumph of light over darkness.

The 10th Deepotsav marks a decade of grand celebrations of Ayodhya’s religious and cultural heritage.
