Lakhimpur Kheri : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) national president Mayawati appealed to vote in favour of Kheri Lok Sabha candidate Anshay Kalra and Dhaurahara’s Shyam Kishore Awasthi. In the election rally at GIC Maidan, she fiercely attacked the alliance of Congress and SP and ruling BJP. Mayawati said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is not giving ration from his own pocket. “The government is giving ration only from the tax collected from the public.
Now no slogans and guarantees of BJP will be of any use,” she claimed. Attacking BJP, Mayawati said that BJP is working to make the capitalists rich. “Also, like Congress, agencies are being used in BJP also,” she stressed. She said that the BSP government has done farmer-friendly work during its government.
The people of BJP were working to crush the farmers movement going on in Lakhimpur Kheri. Taking aim at the distribution of ration, Mayawati said that whatever little food items are being given,
BJP is not giving it from its own pocket but from tax contributed by public. While supporting the Muslim community, Mayawati said that especially the Muslim community is being exploited under the guise of religion. “When the government comes, it will be stopped,” she emphasised. Taking aim at Congress, she said that the Sikh community has been exploited.
“They (Congress) destroyed and ruined the Sikh society. Congress should never be forgiven for this. Referring to Indira Gandhi’s assassination, Mayawati said that after Indira’s assassination, Congress committed a lot of atrocities on the people of Sikh community.
