Atiq Ahmad’s Lawyer, Vijay Mishra Listed As History Sheeter

The Prayagraj police have listed, Atiq Ahmad’s Lawyer, Vijay Mishra, as a history sheeter.

Vijay Mishra is the second lawyer of Atiq Ahmad to be mentioned as history sheeter. Before this, Police listed Khan Saulat Hanif as history sheeter last month.

Atiq’s sons, Mohammed Umar and Ali Ahmed, have already been registered by the police as history-sheeters with the Khuldabad police station in the Prayagraj district, under the ’48B’ and ’57B’ numbers, respectively.

Additionally, the police reported that nine cases had been filed against Mishra by several district police stations.

He was taken into custody and imprisoned on suspicion of extorting a lumber dealer in Dariyabad. At the moment, he is being held at the Naini Central jail.

Mishra was also named as an accused by the police in the murder case of lawyer Umesh Pal.

According to Deepak Bhuker, Deputy Commissioner of Police (City), the police are closing the loop on Atiq’s gang members.

Khan Saulat Hanif, Atiq Ahmad’s lawyer, has already been given a life sentence for kidnapping and assaulting Umesh Pal, the attorney, who was slain on February 24, 2023, along with two of his police gunners.

Khan Saulat Hanif has four criminal cases pending against him.
