A man was killed in a landslip in Assam’s Dhirenpara on Saturday morning, amid the state’s relentless rainfall.
According to the reports, a guard wall of a sweets-making plant collapsed, killing Mukhtar Ali, who was working at the facility at the time of the incident and was subsequently discovered trapped beneath the wreckage.
According to locals, the guard wall collapsed on the small business unit located on Sonali Path in the Dhirenpara neighborhood.
Following the incident, the Guwahati municipal police and State Disaster Response Force rushed to the location and recovered the body.
