Assam BJP Leader Claims Her Own Life After Intimate Pictures Go Viral

Indrani Tahbildar, a BJP leader in Assam claimed her own life after her intimate pictures with another politician of a senior party got leaked on social media. The unfortunate incident occurred in Guwahati’s Bamunimaidam area on Friday night.

Indrani Tahbildar, a prominent member of the state BJP held the designation of the Chamber of Commerce’s vice president. Moreover, she was a beloved member of the Kisan Morcha.

As per the sources, the deceased got indulged in an illicit affair with another BJP leader who accommodated at her house on rent. It has been alleged the photos of the couple going viral on social media prompted the BJP leader to take this drastic step.

While interacting with IANS, the DCP of central Guwahati Dipak Choudhury said that the police are currently investigating the matter. He further added that an inquest has been launched into what seems to be an unnatural death. Choudhury also mentioned they have not received any complaints associated with the leaking of intimate pictures of the deceased with another person. However, they are looking into the case from all angles.

As for the deceased’s body, it has been sent to the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.
