Artism 2023: A Triumph of Artistic Brilliance at Alliance Francaise de Delhi

The vibrant and culturally rich heart of Delhi, Lodhi Estate, witnessed a spectacular celebration of artistic talent at the 12th Annual Paintings Exhibition, ‘Artism 2023,’ hosted by MAFAC (Maharaja Academy of Fine Art & Craft) and WellDone Art Academy at Alliance Francaise de Delhi. The event, spanning two days from November 25 to 26, was a captivating showcase of creativity, featuring the works of 155 talented children and seasoned artists.

The exhibition commenced with a preview on Saturday, November 25, setting the stage for the official inauguration on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Distinguished guests, Ms. Manisha Saxena (Director General: Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India) and Mr. Vinod Rai (Former CAG of India), inaugurated Artism 2023 at 11 am. The spotlight of the event was on the young artists mentored at the academy, who astounded the audience with their artistic brilliance.

Mr. L R Gandhi, President of MAFAC, added a seasoned touch to the vibrant collection with his precious artworks themed on the famous Ghats of Banaras. The inauguration ceremony featured the presentation of Appreciation Trophies and Certificates by the dignitaries, recognizing the hard work of all participants.

Artism 2023 showcased the commitment of MAFAC and Well-done in nurturing artistic expression, particularly in children. The founders, Mr. L.R Gandhi and Mrs. Gandhi, along with their daughter, Amita Kaur Taluja, have played a pivotal role in organizing various art shows, workshops, and seminars to promote art, not only in India but also internationally.

Moreover, Saadyaant Kaushal won an award for his exceptional painting skills at the 12th Annual Paintings Exhibition, ‘Artism 2023’.

The success of Artism 2023 can be attributed to the ongoing efforts of MAFAC and Well-done, as well as the support of talented participants and their parents. The event served as an ideal platform for emerging artists to showcase their talent and drew a large audience appreciating the artworks.

Notably, last year’s Artism 2022, inaugurated by Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Ambassador Dr. Deepak Vohra, and Dr. Jitendra Nagpal, set a high standard for this year’s exhibition. Building on the success of the previous edition, Artism 2023 promised and delivered a captivating celebration of artistic expression, uniting seasoned artists and promising talents in the heart of Delhi’s cultural scene.

As the exhibition concluded on November 26, the echoes of Artism 2023 will undoubtedly resonate, leaving a lasting impact on the artistic landscape of Delhi. The event stands as a testament to the power of creativity and the unwavering dedication of MAFAC and Well-done Art Academy in fostering the artistic spirit in the community.
