Andhra Pradesh Incorporates New IT Policy

In an effort to draw investment to the state, the government of Andhra Pradesh plans to unveil a new IT strategy soon, according to minister of information technology, electronics, and education Nara Lokesh, who made this announcement on Friday.

He held a review conference with the state’s top officials to discuss the health of the IT and electronics industries as well as potential new unit establishments.

The minister gave the officials instructions to start taking steps to build trust with people who want to establish IT and electronics businesses in the state.

Informing the officials that the state government is eager to have an IT strategy that is investor-friendly, Lokesh asked them to create the appropriate guidelines in this regard. He declared that the whole electronics and IT sector would receive improved facilities.

The minister instructed the officials to provide a report on the plug-and-play infrastructure that is now available in the port city of Visakhapatnam, as well as to enhance the current portal for monitoring investments in the IT and electronics industries.

Lokesh requested a thorough report on the land availability in and around Visakhapatnam that is appropriate for starting new businesses.

In addition to fixing their problems, the officials ought to hold regular meetings with individuals who are considering investing in the state’s IT and electronics sectors and furnish them with relevant information, according to Lokesh. He requested that officials treat the industrialists with the utmost courtesy.

Anil Kumar, the CEO of the AP Innovations Society, Surjit Singh, the Joint Director (Promotions), and Kona Sasidhar, the Secretary of IT and Electronics attended the meeting.
