Amit Shah To Visit Haryana On 24 December, Unveil Vision Document-2047 To Align With ‘Viksit Bharat’ Goal

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will formally release the Haryana government’s Vision Document-2047 in Panchkula on Wednesday, a day ahead of Good Governance Day. In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’. Vision Document-2047, outlines a comprehensive roadmap for the state’s development over the next 22 years.

The document was earlier scheduled to be launched on November 25, but will now be unveiled with a renewed focus on presenting Haryana’s future trajectory.

The Vision Document-2047 places strong emphasis on employment generation and economic growth. The state government has set a target of creating 50 lakh new jobs by 2047, with a parallel objective of expanding Haryana’s economy to 1 trillion dollars. To ensure effective implementation of these long-term goals, a high-level task force has been constituted to oversee and monitor the mission.

Keeping future challenges in mind, the Haryana government has established a new ‘Department of Future’. This department will work on emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), robotics and quantum computing.

With support from the World Bank, the state is also preparing the ‘Haryana AI Mission’ to position Haryana as a national leader in advanced technology adoption. The department is expected to play a central role in policy formulation and execution related to future-ready governance.

Roadmap For Agriculture, Education And Healthcare

Beyond industrial and technological growth, Vision-2047 addresses key public sectors including education, agriculture and healthcare. Improving learning outcomes, making farming more profitable and ensuring access to quality healthcare form core pillars of the roadmap.

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has underlined that Haryana offers one of the most industry-friendly environments in the country, with the government committed to elevating the state across all sectors.

To transform Haryana into a startup hub, the government has announced targeted initiatives, including the Haryana Venture Capital Fund, which will provide affordable space and professional guidance to emerging startups.

Additionally, a dedicated fund of ₹2,000 crore has been created to attract private investment, aimed at accelerating entrepreneurship and creating local opportunities for youth.
