Union Home Minister Amit Shah will travel to four states, including twice to Karnataka, for a series of events over the next eight days, officials said on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, the home minister will inaugurate the Sharda Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district via video conference.
The Shri Sringeri Math and Seva Sharda Samiti Kashmir built the temple.
According to officials, Shah will inaugurate a Vedic heritage portal and virtual music based on 64 arts in New Delhi on Thursday.
On March 24, 2023, the home minister will travel to Karnataka to attend a regional conference of southern states and union territories in Bengaluru on drug trafficking and national security.
Officials said he will also lay the foundation stone for Sahakar Samridhi Soudha and inaugurate various development projects of the Ministry of Cooperation in Bengaluru.
On March 25, 2023, Shah will travel to Chhattisgarh to attend the CRPF’s 84th raising day celebrations in Jagdalpur.
“He will also launch a Prasar Bharati news service in the Bastar division’s local Halbi language in Jagdalpur”, officials added.

The home minister will travel to neighboring Madhya Pradesh in the afternoon to offer prayers at the Aanchalkund Dada Darbar in Chhindwara.
Later, he will speak at a public meeting in Chhindwara. According to officials, the home minister will visit Karnataka on March 26, 2023, to inaugurate the Gorata martyrs memorial and the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel memorial in Bidar.
In addition, he will hoist a tricolor that will be installed at a height of 103 feet in Bidar.
Officials said, “Shah will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for various development schemes in Raichur district during the day”.
“He will also reveal Lord Basaveshwara ji and Nadaprabhu Kempegowda ji’s idols”, they added.
The home minister will attend the ASSOCHAM annual day celebrations in New Delhi on March 28, 2023.
On March 29, 2023, he will attend the convocation ceremony for 78 CRPF Assistant Commandants at the CRPF Academy in Haryana’s Gurugram.
