Amit Shah To Address UP BJP State Executive Meeting In Lucknow Today

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will address the Uttar Pradesh BJP’s state executive committee meeting in Lucknow on Friday as the party steps up preparations for the 2027 Assembly elections.

The meeting will review the party’s organisational activities and outline its future action plan, with a focus on strengthening its grassroots network and improving coordination among leaders and workers across the state.

The Office of the Union Home Minister announced the programme on its official X account on Thursday, confirming that Shah would address the state executive meeting.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, both Deputy Chief Ministers, senior state leaders and state executive committee members will attend the meeting.

The leaders will further discuss organisational preparedness, election strategy and plans for the 2027 Assembly polls.

The party leadership will review its organisational structure and discuss ways to strengthen its grassroots presence.

Shah is also likely to meet booth-level workers from different regions of Uttar Pradesh to review organisational activities and assess preparations ahead of the elections.

BJP MP Priyanka Singh Rawat welcomed the meeting on Thursday, saying party leaders and workers would benefit from Shah’s guidance.

Speaking to IANS, Rawat said leaders from the state and the Centre would attend the meeting and provide direction for upcoming party programmes.

She added that the party would work to strengthen its booths, mandals and Shakti Kendras based on the leadership’s guidance.

The meeting comes as the BJP seeks to intensify its organisational activities across Uttar Pradesh and improve coordination between its state leadership and grassroots workers ahead of the 2027 electoral contest.
