Amit Shah Pays Tribute To Jatindranath Das On Birth Anniversary

Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to revolutionary Jatindranath Das on his birth anniversary, remembering his sacrifice and unwavering commitment to India’s independence.

In a social media post, Shah recalled how Das joined the freedom struggle during his student days, organising young people and inspiring them with revolutionary ideals in the fight against British rule.

Despite facing inhuman treatment at the hands of British authorities, Das remained steadfast in his resolve.

Shah highlighted how the revolutionary protested against the discriminatory treatment of freedom fighters in prison by undertaking a hunger strike that lasted 63 days and ultimately cost him his life.

Das’s prolonged fast became a symbol of resistance against colonial oppression and the unequal treatment of political prisoners. His determination reflected his commitment to justice, dignity and the cause of India’s independence.

Shah highlighted the enduring significance of Das’s courage, self-sacrifice and martyrdom, which continue to inspire generations of Indians to serve the nation.

The revolutionary’s life remains a reminder of the hardships endured by freedom fighters and their determination to challenge British rule.

छात्र जीवन से ही स्वाधीनता संग्राम में कूद पड़े जतीन्द्रनाथ दास जी ने युवाओं को संगठित कर उनके हृदय में क्रांति की ज्वाला प्रज्वलित की। अंग्रेजी हुकूमत की अमानवीय यातनाएँ भी उन्हें डिगा न सकीं और जेल में क्रांतिकारियों के साथ हो रहे भेदभाव के विरुद्ध 63 दिनों तक अनशन करते हुए उन्होंने अपने प्राण न्योछावर कर दिए।

उनका अदम्य साहस, त्याग व बलिदान हमेशा देशवासियों को राष्ट्रसेवा की प्रेरणा देता रहेगा।

মাতৃভূমি ভারতমাতার স্বাধীনতার জন্য নিজের জীবন উৎসর্গকারী মহান বিপ্লবী যতীন্দ্রনাথ দাসের জন্মজয়ন্তীতে তাঁকে জানাই বিনম্র শ্রদ্ধা।

ছাত্রজীবন থেকেই স্বাধীনতা সংগ্রামে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়া যতীন্দ্রনাথ দাস যুবসমাজকে সংগঠিত করে তাঁদের হৃদয়ে বিপ্লবের আগুন জ্বালিয়ে দিয়েছিলেন। ব্রিটিশ শাসকদের অমানবিক অত্যাচারও তাঁকে দমাতে পারেনি। কারাগারে বিপ্লবীদের সঙ্গে করা বৈষম্যের প্রতিবাদে তিনি টানা ৬৩ দিন অনশন করেন এবং শেষ পর্যন্ত নিজের প্রাণ উৎসর্গ করেন।

তাঁর অদম্য সাহস, আত্মত্যাগ ও বলিদান চিরকাল দেশবাসীকে দেশসেবায় অনুপ্রাণিত করবে।
