Union Home Minister Amit Shah extends his greetings to the civil servants. He lauded their efforts for delivering good governance. He took to his social media to wish the civil servants in the country.
Amit Shah took to his X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “On #CivilServicesDay, extending best wishes to our civil servants. Whether it is executing the schemes and policies or delivering good governance, our civil servants have served with a firm commitment. May this day further strengthen their commitment to serve the nation.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a special program at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, on the occasion of Civil Services Day. During his speech, he lauded the invaluable contributions of civil servants to the nation’s progress.
Calling the occasion ‘very special’, PM Modi highlighted that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the Constitution of India and the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
He recalled Patel’s iconic words from April 21, 1947, when he referred to civil servants as the ‘steel frame of India’, symbolising integrity and discipline.
Referring to his earlier speech from the Red Fort, PM Modi emphasised the long-term vision of governance.
“I had said that today’s India must lay a strong foundation for the next 1,000 years. We have already completed the first 25 years of this new century and millennium. The policies and decisions we are implementing today will shape the future of the coming millennium,” he remarked.
The Prime Minister’s address served as both a tribute and a call to action for civil servants, urging them to continue working with dedication and foresight in nation-building.
