All Illegal Colonies Will Be Valid Until December 31, 2022: Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Any unlicensed colonies constructed before December 31, 2022, would be declared lawful, according to Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The necessary resources will be made available for these colonies’ development.

Infrastructure-related arrangements will be made in full. Further arrangements will be made in addition to the provision of water and electricity. The poor inhabitants of these colonies will not be required to pay a development fee.

The constructed homes will be acknowledged and granted approval in that format. He claimed that the responsible officials would now be in charge of removing the unlawful settlement. Police officers closely monitor this. Illegal colonies shouldn’t ever be established.

These declarations were made by Chief Minister Shri Chouhan at the Chief Minister’s house as part of a programme for the regularisation of illegal colonies, the development of civic infrastructure, and the provision of building permits. Starting the programme was Kanya-pujan.

According to Chief Minister Shri Chouhan, the government’s goal is to improve the quality of life for the populace. The Urban Development and Housing Department received the appropriate directives from Chief Minister Shri Chouhan for this.

Colonies that have achieved legal status will now have access to bank credit.

The MLA and MP fund amount may be allocated for development.

He recommended that resident groups be established in the colonies.

A public campaign should be started with the intention that the colonies should not lag behind in cleanliness. After the house is built, it is our duty to keep the entire environment clean. All citizens should take care of cleanliness and hygiene.

Urban bodies should provide necessary cooperation to the resident association

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that unauthorized colonies are being made legal. Here all the urban bodies should provide necessary cooperation to the resident associations. Attention should be paid to making the colonies clean and beautiful.

The Chief Minister said that our home is the most beautiful. It is the dream of every person to have a house of his own in life. Food, clothes and house are the basic needs of life. Life cannot be spent without a house.

A house is not a building made of bricks and mortar, it is a holy temple. A house is a dream home for our children. In Indian culture, it is believed that it is necessary to build a house for our children.

Lower middle class families live in cities, people coming for work and for children’s education. have their own house, There is such a desire. The capital of the whole life is invested in the house by adding every penny.

Sometimes they take such plots which are unauthorised. After the house is built on it, it is known that it is illegal. This is not justice to the citizens. The stigma of being unauthorized has to be removed.

It is not illegal to build your own house. The state government is running the Chief Minister’s Residential Land Rights Scheme in the villages. Years old lease holders are also being made owners in the cities. Similarly, those who build houses by spending their hard-earned money throughout their life cannot be considered as unauthorized. Colonizer should not mess up, control is also necessary on this.

The poor will get food in the cities for Rs.5

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that poor people coming to the city for work should be provided food for Rs.5 under the Deendayal Rasoi Yojana. No person should sleep hungry in the state. He said that action should be taken to remove the encroachment but keep a balance in it.

There should not be any crisis on the livelihood of the vendors. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave token permission certificates to some citizens.

Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh said that till December 31, 2016, action is being taken to legalize 6077 unauthorized colonies. Mr. Singh has urged the Chief Minister that if a decision is taken to legalize unauthorized colonies till December 31, 2022, then residents of 2500 colonies will be additionally benefited.

He said that the maps of such houses built in these colonies, which are coming within the limits of compounding, should be passed. Mr. Singh said that if the provision of charging development fee from poor residents is abolished, lakhs of poor people will be benefitted by it. If offline process is adopted to pass the maps of these colonies, then it will be convenient. Mr. Singh said that now the residents will be able to get all building permissions, permissions and eligibility for bank loans. Regular schemes like Amrit Yojana, infrastructure item and MP and MLA fund etc. will enable development works. Drinking Water,

Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing Mr. OPS Bhadoria said that today’s program is to give light and respect to about 20 lakh families. He said that those who are deprived of basic facilities will now get all the necessary facilities.

Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Shri Neeraj Mandloi has said that initial publication of 6 thousand 77 eligible colonies has been done. Out of these, preliminary publication of the layout of 1662 colonies, final publication of the layout of 1336 colonies and the work of granting building permission is being started in 1122 colonies. Today 500 building permission certificates are being distributed. The process of regularization of all eligible colonies will be completed by June 30. Programs were organized in all the districts. The live telecast of the main program was done in the urban bodies. Mayor of Municipal Corporation Bhopal Mrs. Malti Rai proposed vote of thanks.
